The British Club, which was recently voted Best Social Club in the World" in the UK Telegraph's Best of British 2010 awards, is one of the oldest and most popular clubs in Bahrain. The Club was founded in 1935 and was originally known as The Gymkhana Club. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and currently boasts a membership of almost 2000 members.

The club offers a safe, friendly atmosphere for individuals and families to relax in, and has a wide range of facilities. These include:-

One of our main attractions is a fully equipped Gym for all those who wish to get or remain fit. The Gym provides some of the latest equipment for exercise and fitness sessions are held on a regular basis.

The Club has probably the best stocked English language Library in Bahrain that also includes a large selection of Children's books.

 

The club has many sections that hold Regular Events
as well as Special Events.

Classical Evenings, Ballroom Dancing Classes,
Tots & Toddlers group, Live bands and much more....
