Llongsteppers

The Llongsteppers originated in the 1980's as a group of serious cyclists who also liked to socialise. However, it soon became clear that there was more interest in the refreshment stops along the route than in the actual cycling!

They have evolved into a small group of individuals who are keen fundraisers and run two main events at the Club each year. The Birdman and the Llongsteppers horse racing evening, with all the proceeds going to charity.
