The British Club, which was voted "Best Social Club in the World" in the UK Telegraph's Best of British awards, is one of the oldest and most popular ex-pat clubs in Bahrain. The Club was founded in 1935 and was originally known as The Gymkhana Club. Since then it has gone from strength to strength and currently has over 1500 members.
This is a private Members' Club and entry is generally restricted to Members and their Guests only.

Our beverage selection is large, varied and great value, served to you by our friendly and efficient multi-national service team.
We have great sports facilities and classes, activities for the whole family, live music events, bingo and quiz nights as well as plenty of comfortable sun loungers around our 25m temperature controlled pool.
Our sports lounge shows a multitude of live sports and is a great place to hang out with a chilled beverage to beat the summer heat! In cooler months we show live sport on our garden Mega-Screen.

Great live music most weekends. I come every Friday night with my wife for great food and a few drinks. We love the atmosphere, especially in the garden in the winter.

We are members of another club in Bahrain but come here evey Saturday for the British breakfasts.

The service staff at the club are excellent. They are great with our kids. We love the pool and the inflatable Saturday events are a family favourite.
