Improvisational theatre, often called improv, is a form of theatre, usually comedy, in which most or all of what is performed is unscripted and created spontaneously by the performers. In its purest form, the dialogue, action, story, and characters are created collaboratively by the players as the improvisation unfolds in real time. Come and try it!

Want to join us?

Improv is a form of theatre where everything is made up in the moment. Unplanned and unscripted, it’s fun, silly, collaborative and hugely satisfying. It’s also a great way to build your confidence and learn new skills. Interested in having a go? At MTC, through improv games, we create a friendly, fun, sociable and supportive atmosphere where people are free to play and be themselves. You don’t need any previous experience in improv, comedy or acting to take part.
